What is BeautySpace?

BeautySpace is an online platform connecting Hair & Beauty Freelancers with Salons & Spas that have Space available to rent out by the hour, day or week with no commitments

Is it FREE to advertise our Space on BeautySpace?

Yes! Listing your available Space is absolutely FREE, however a commission will be deducted on the total amount you charge.

How can we advertise our Space on BeautySpace?

Register online and list your available Space for the times and dates available.


You can customise your profile to your needs and advertise multiple Spaces (i.e., chairs) if you would like!

Do the Salons & Spas have the option to set their own hourly, daily or weekly rates?

Yes! You can set the rates

Will my Salon or Spa be providing equipment, tools, or products?

You can select which equipment, tools or products you provide as part of your pricing. You will be able to decide this on the profile of your Space

Is there a screening process for those renting chairs in our Spaces?

Yes!  You do have the option to screen Freelancers by viewing their profile prior to accepting the booking request. Please note you have 24 hrs to confirm the booking after which the request expires. 


You also have the ability to allow direct bookings

If I have approved a Freelancer in the past, do I need to approve them every time?

No, you will not have to approve them every time

What if I have a problem with a Freelancer, and I want to prevent them from booking my Space again?

If you do not wish to choose our approval booking process option when completing your profile, then please contact us at info@beautyspaceuk.com

Am I able to require Freelancers to follow our Salon/Studio’s rules and guidelines? (i.e. phone use, covid protocol, etc.)

Yes! In addition to accepting the BeautySpace Terms & Conditions, all Freelancers must agree to follow all rules and guidelines which you display on your profile for your Salon or Spa prior to making any booking

What if I unexpectedly need to close my Salon or Spa for an emergency?

If you need to cancel the booking please do so on the website.

What kind of insurances are there?

As a Salon or Spa owner, you are responsible for your own business insurance

What liabilities do the Salon owners have?

What is BeautySpace?

BeautySpace is an online platform connecting Hair & Beauty Freelancers with Salons & Spas that have Space available to rent out by the hour, day or week with no commitments

Are Freelancer profiles free?

Yes! It is absolutely FREE to become a Member of BeautySpace. You will be charged a booking fee which will be included in the total amount you pay when you book your Space

Am I able to rent multiple chairs or Spaces in the same Salon or Spa?

Yes!  The Salon or Spa has opportunity to rent out multiple Spaces according to their availability

Will the Salon or Spa provide colour, wash bays, towels, gowns, etc. or will Freelancers be responsible for bringing everything with them?

The equipment, tools or products provided by the Salon or Spa will be listed on their profile

How do I know if the Salon or Spa is the right fit for me?

Salon & Spa owners have the ability to customise their profiles for you to review before booking. BeautySpace also provides a public review system which can assist you in making an informed decision

What is the cancellation policy for Freelancers?

Bookings may be cancelled 48 hours prior to the time of the booking. Please see our Fees & Cancellation policy for more details

What is the social media policy for Freelancers? Can I take photos of my clients in the facility, and if yes do they need to be tagged?

Social media and all other rules should be clearly defined by the Salon or Spa

What about PPE equipment – will the Salon or Spas have that available?

The equipment, tools or products provided by the Salon or Spa (including PPE) will be listed on the Salon or Spa profile

What kind of fee does the Salon or Spa have to pay?

A commission will be deducted by the total amount the Salon or Spa charges

Do I need to follow all Salon & Spa “Employee” policies? (i.e.,phone use on floor etc)?

Yes! As a Freelance professional all Salon and Spa rules and guidelines must be agreed to prior to booking

What are insurance policies for Freelancers?

As a Freelance professional, you are responsible for your own business insurance
